Shark and stingray feeding is at 1 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with an extra feeding at 11 a.m. on Saturdays; the aquarium feeding is at 2 p.m., the animal encounter at 3 p.m., and the invertebrate touch tank opens at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per person for ages 3 and up. Ocean Blvd. and is closed Mondays, open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m. (the late weekday opening is to make room for school groups), Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday noon to 4 p.m. Parking is free in the lot off Ingraham Avenue, but there are only ten spaces, and the center recommends carpooling.

The Cornell Cafe serves Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., which makes lunch easy to fold in.

If someone in your family uses a wheelchair or walker, the city keeps free surf chairs at lifeguard towers South 1 (A1A and Atlantic), South 3, South 5 and Atlantic Dunes Park from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., first come, with a two-hour limit; Ocean Rescue staff are not permitted to transfer anyone into the chair or push it, so a companion has to come along. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. A city beach parking permit runs October 1 through September 30 and covers the Sandoway, Anchor, Ingraham, Atlantic Dunes and Orange Grove/North lots on A1A.

If you are planning a birthday, the two pavilions rent for $60 plus tax for residents and $70 plus tax for non-residents for four hours, or $100 and $110 for eight, with a $100 refundable deposit; bounce houses are allowed at the sports pavilion only and need prior approval.

at 19 NE 3rd Ave. charges for time, not for games: $15 for an hour, $20 for a half day, or $25 for the Eat & Play pass that includes all-day re-entry and a plain cheese pizza. Kids 4 and under are free with a paid adult admission, and after 10 p.m. entry drops to $10. All of the machines, more than 150 of them, are set to free play, so there is no coin negotiation. It sits in a large municipal lot with eight-hour parking, and the venue says it is open during renovations.
