Empire Steak House is taking over the old CUT 432 space on Atlantic Avenue
Plus two Delray Beach Open returns, Hairspray at the Playhouse and a free festival at Old School Square.
For years, Jeff, Jack and Russ Sinanaj carried steaks across the floor at Peter Luger in Brooklyn. Now their own steakhouse is headed for a downtown Delray address diners already know.
There is no opening date yet, only word that the new steakhouse is coming soon. The address is 432 East Atlantic Avenue, most recently home to CUT 432 Steakhouse. Taking it over are Jeff, Jack and Russ Sinanaj, who have run a family restaurant company for more than 21 years. Their training came in Brooklyn. For years, the brothers worked as waiters at Peter Luger Steak House, learning what a top steakhouse gets right, from the beef to the service. In Delray, the menu will lean on the group's standbys: premium steaks, porterhouse cuts, fresh seafood and a strong wine list. The plan pairs classic New York polish with a more relaxed South Florida mood. Prices and hours have not been announced. For downtown diners, a familiar steakhouse address on the avenue looks set to stay a steakhouse.
Learner Tien and Brandon Nakashima return for the 2027 Delray Beach Open
Nakashima, 25, is currently ranked No.17, while Tien, 20, sits at No.18. Both have history on these courts. Tien reached the semifinals in Delray earlier this year, and February will mark his third appearance. His 2026 season also brought an Australian Open quarterfinal, a Masters 1000 semifinal in Montreal and a quarterfinal at Indian Wells. Nakashima, a two-time quarterfinalist here, returns for his fifth appearance. The two Americans join Taylor Fritz in the field for the 35th anniversary of the ATP 250 event. For local fans, that adds two players who have already gone deep in Delray to an early lineup. Tickets are sold through DelrayBeachOpen.com.
