Boca Magazine reports that designer Nick Alain carries over the Victorian styling from Glimmer, while chef Estuardo Mira builds a European- and Latin-inspired menu of mini lobster rolls, steak frites, zebra lobster ravioli and a white sturgeon caviar service, alongside a bar of originals and reworked classics. The American Developer reports that Redfearn Capital, the Delray Beach investment firm led by Alex Redfearn, has paid a combined $42.2 million for two commercial buildings on East Atlantic Avenue: $38.2 million at a court-ordered auction for the 22,800-square-foot office and retail building at 105-111 East Atlantic Avenue, and $4 million for the retail building next door at 123 East Atlantic Avenue. The publication calls it one of the largest retail trades in the city's history.

The anchor building is fully leased, with Sloan's Ice Cream and Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill among its tenants. As of that report, the Palm Beach County property appraiser had not updated the ownership record for 105-111 East Atlantic Avenue, and a deed reflecting the purchase had not posted publicly.

Delray Beach Ghost Tours and Movies of Delray are hosting a charity night around the release of “Practical Magic 2,” with proceeds benefiting Julia's Star Childhood Cancer Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) that funds pediatric brain cancer research. CBS12 reports the evening begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17 with psychic readings, a Q&A and the premiere of “Ghost Alive,” and the screening starts at 7:30 p.m. at Movies of Delray, 7421 W. Atlantic Ave. Tickets are $25 early bird and $30 day of event; organizers say early-bird tickets are limited and more than 150 items will be raffled.
